La Republica – Renzi announced his reform program to Brussels: 12 reforms in two years. Unions are gathering to protest against the cuts in public administration. Renzi’s government presented its 2015-2016 reform programme, these measures must be undertaken in order to satisfy Brussels’ requirement.
Il Sole 24 Ore – Public procurement: the new code is “light”. Ratings for businesses and public administrations. The Italian senate will review today a set of reforms on the public procurement code. The reforms include a “premium access” to public procurements for businesses that have always met contract terms.
POLAND
Gazeta – Regulations that stifle Poland. The Ministry of Economy ignores the air pollution problem whereas experts and ecologists, backed by the Supreme Audit Office, appeal for imposing a ban on selling poisonous kinds of coal to households.
SPAIN
El Pais – Rajoy imposes a truce until the municipal elections. The President will give details on the electoral strategy at today’s assembly.
