Martin Bajada, who was once found guilty of theft and falsification of documents in the UK, was given the sensitive job by inquiring Magistrate Anthony Vella.

Nérea Fresneda and her boyfriend were two people among hundreds of thousands waving both the Catalan and the Spanish flags. They had gathered to protest against the declaration of independence, which was approved by the Catalan government on 27 October 2017.
