Mrs Merkel is set for a fourth term in office, despite heavy losses for her party. She now faces months of coalition talks with several parties in order to form a stable government.

North Korean forced labourers were hired to build the Danish Navy’s new warship

In 2014, a Polish shipyard hired North Korean forced labourers to participate in the construction of the Royal Danish Navy’s new inspection vessel. The hiring happened through a company which is suspected of financing the North Korean nuclear programme. The Danish Ministry of Defence denies that the North Koreans were part of building the ship.
